We release individually and we release collectively.
What does it look like when we release individually?
The gunk comes out. We burn on the inside. It feels like things are getting worse. We’re getting worse. We lash out. We cry. It hurts. It feels like it’s never going to end.
What does it look like when we release collectively?
The gunk comes out. We burn on the inside. It feels like things are getting worse. We’re getting worse. We lash out. We cry. It hurts. It feels like it’s never going to end.
So, here we are, releasing collectively.
We are more aware than ever before. We see more. The patterns rear their ugly heads. We see them for the illusions they are, but it feels like we have no control.
Wait… am I talking about the individual or the collective?
Yes! (Both.)
When we have more awareness, we see more, we feel more. This is why waking up is painful. Because all of a sudden, we see more, we feel more. It’s more information.
In The Matrix, This is why Cipher takes the blue pill. He would rather stay asleep. But that is only the condition of one who thinks in black and white, that life is one or the other.
It’s the condition of one who has not yet processed the pain of waking up. When trauma, pain, and conditioning is processed — and released — you engage the flywheel to freedom. The key is you have to keep going for the momentum to build.
So, like Cipher, we get to choose.
Always, in the choice to wake up, there is a great struggle. The conditioned patterns fight the new, growing awareness. They fear the reality where they are not in control.
This struggle is shown in the transition of a caterpillar to a butterfly as the caterpillar’s immune system kills off the imaginal cells that bring the butterfly to life. For the caterpillar, it is a death. A new being emerges.
Was the caterpillar bad or wrong? Was it wrong for the immune system to fight?
We witness the imaginal cells being killed off. We wonder, will the butterfly emerge? In this, we doubt the natural, intelligent process that turns caterpillars to butterflies. Our attention is stuck on the death of the imaginal cells. Each seed of becoming destroyed. The horror!
We put forth tendrils of the new, only to see them wither. The life that we envision vanishes before our eyes once again. Are we resigned to this caterpillar life? Confined to the same old leaves and branches? Will our vistas be forever from our reach? Despair sets in. “Nothing will change,” we cry within!
Awareness myopically drawn towards death and destruction, out of our line of sight, a quiet (r)evolution is happening. Imaginal cells take the lead. They band together, forming strong bonds. Bonds that outlast the attacks from the immune system.
As the bonded imaginal cells grow in number, so does their strength. This new environment is not where caterpillar cells can remain and they begin to die off. Slowly at first, then more and more.
It’s hard to believe at first. Is it really happening? Can we trust what we see? Our belief here is vital, by the way, because it is an anchor that allows us to venture another try, time and time again.
Good, lasting things emerge from a lot of failed attempts.
Believe in the butterfly.
It’s a messy process. What’s actually happening? Is it progress? I mean, it’s literally a soup in the chrysalis at one point, so who really knows… Our human rhythms are cyclical and nonlinear soup does reconfigure itself.
Can we draw our attention to what we want to create? As this dreams plays out in our microcosm, so it plays out on the world stage. Is all this drama and pain worth it? We have yet to see on the macro level, but based on the micro level, I vote yes.
There’s nothing like the freedom from the chains of traumas, wounding, and pain, reclaiming our true nature beneath the layers of conditioning that were put upon us.
We’re working towards this collectively. It’s a messy, painful, sometimes hard-to-witness process. But witness it we will. We will witness it while turning towards it with love because we have all made mistakes and we all know what it’s like to suffer.
While we’re not all in a direct position to change the course of some of these macro challenges, we are all in a position to do it for ourselves. To let go of trauma, pain, and conditioning.
Doing that individually does indeed make its way into the macro. Whether you care about that or not, it’s still going to bring you joy and freedom.
There’s tons of great practitioners and modalities out there. Use your heart, mind, and intuition to get into the work. Do it with someone who cares. Try many modalities. The stuff may stick around and put up resistance to leaving, but with love, attention, and patience, it will begin to move. It will gain momentum and you will feel freer and freer.
This intelligence is waking up. So, how about it? Shall we wake up together?
I feel this so much ✨
Our Primal Soul Embodied Intelligence is waking up ~ YES!! This guidance and remembrance is pouring through me as well 🌬️🌀
